"I'm glad I'm in your arms, and not someone else's.."

So today my schedule consisted of:

Laying around
Dawson's Creek
Cleaning
Dawson's Creek
Hangin with the family
Dawson's Creek
Facebook
Phone with chelle..<3

Life is too good... Although I love being home with my family, I am missing KKG & 1018 more and more every day...

After 30 minutes on the phone with Michelle, I miss just being able to walk down the hall and talk with her and the rest of my Kappa sisters... if only there there were more people my age here in the south...

The one plus of being here in the south... the weather.. it was a little chilly this weekend, but later this week it is going to be 50s-60s... yay!! Some real sunshine for this holiday season!! The official count: 4 days until Christmas... time with the family.. the yiyia... I am so excited! More news to come... but until now, readers, keep it classy!!

XOXO,

Gossip Damy...

P.S... This was the definition of a southern belle according to Urban Dictionary:

God's greatest creation ever. The most beautiful women in the world.

Loves it.

"The strangers are coming, throw rocks at them!!!"

Yes, folks, you read correctly... this was a direct quote from Matthew's play today. His fifth grade class did a skit on the story of John Smith and the Indians...

...not only was it informational and educational... but provided WAY MORE entertainment than I thought I would ever get from it!! Too good....

In Holly Springs right now it is approximately 40 degrees and a little rainy... earlier today however it started snowing for a bit.. and for by a bit, I mean 15 minutes & did not stick... what are the Holly Springs schools supposed to do about this? Let it pass?? --> NO.

Readers, they not only did not let is pass, they called EARLY DISMISSAL. In which, by the time we picked up Mark.. it had stopped snowing for almost an hr... so we rushed to see Matthew's play because they had to bump up the time an hr due to the early dismissal. Not only did Mark and I laugh at the sight of these 5th graders trying to be informational, we also got to see their SWEET polar express trains made out of milky ways, frosting, and other delicious treats...

Dangie was so proud.... it made me sick to my stomach..

ALSO, while we are on the topic of DANGIE.. we need to address the issue of her dumbing matthew down, which is not a good thing seeing as he is a gifted child.

Matthew's school is located DIRECTLY across the street from our neighborhood, yet my mother still INSISTS on driving him or letting him take the bus. She always bitches however of having to drive him. Well that's funny because a little exercise might be good for the buggar! However when explaining this concept to my mother she replied with THE statement of the day...

"Matthew can walk to school NEXT year when he is old enough NOT to get hit by a bus or a car!"

Touch, madre.

And THAT my friends is how the cookie crumbles....

On that note, time to get some shut eye-- gotta get my beauty sleep before my mother makes me her Cinderella tomorrow and orders me to lick the floors clean... Gosh, I cannot wait for Maria to get here tomorrow night.. then we can tag-team this situation.

Much love from the dirty dirty!! XOXO
